This day will offer the opportunity to re-connect to ourselves with kindness and compassion. We will learn some mindfulness-based skills to help us notice what gets in the way of being fully present in our lives and what can hinder our relationship with ourselves and others. We also hope to have some fun.
Fee: £40.00 There are some places available for those with a low income.
This workshop is open for anyone who finds it difficult to make space for themselves in their busy lives. It may be particularly useful for people working in the caring professions. A certificate of attendance can be provided .
Who are HumanKindWales? Karen Wilson is a BACP accredited counsellor and NMC registered nurse; Jenny Thompson is a UKCP reg. psychotherapist and supervisor, senior BACP accredited counsellor with an MSc in Mindfulness Studies. Both Jenny and Karen are trained mindfulness teachers and are both sustained by their regular meditation practices. They have worked together for seven years and between them have nearly seven decades of experience of working with people who are struggling emotionally or psychologically.
